900,000 job seekers to receive training
THERAN, May 7 (MNA) –The deputy minister of cooperatives, labor, and social welfare announced the offering of technical and professional training to 900,000 job seekers in three months starting in the current Iranian year which began on March 20.
Kourosh Parand, in an interview with the Mehr News Agency, said, so far some contracts in auto making and construction have been concluded to train the candidates.
Commenting on extensive technical and vocational training alongside the government’s job creation programs in the country, Parand described the program important in the year of “support for national production”.
He also added training will be held in more than 600 public training centers and 17,000 private institutes for various groups including job seekers in cities and villages, college students and graduates, and employees in different sectors like industry, art and culture.
Garrison soldiers also can receive training.
