Following the signing ceremony, the ADMA-OPCO CEO highly commended the prudence of the Government of Abu Dhabi and the unlimited support given by the Emirate's leadership to the oil and gas production enhancement plans. "The contract signing comes under the guidance of Abu Dhabi Government and the support of the Supreme Petroleum Council and the shareholders," said Al-Jarwan, stressing that the entire project is in line with ADNOC guidelines to ensure sustained oil production while maintaining highest HSE standards. He said this project is one of the biggest projects ever with NPCC, noting "We are proud of our partnership with NPCC which proved useful and successful." He said the NPCC-Technip consortium forms a strong combination, hoping that the project would be completed as per the set schedule and quality standards. Package-2 will provide stand-alone oil production facilities comprising a large offshore super complex of six bridge-linked platforms, including gas treatment, gathering, separation, water disposal facilities, utilities and accommodation modules and involves the laying of subsea composite power cables to provide power and control signalling to six new wellhead towers, which are part of Package 1 work, and two existing wellhead towers. NPCC CEO expressed satisfaction with his company's robust and growing partnership with ADMA-OPCO, saying, "NPCC will spare no effort to execute the new project to the full satisfaction of ADMA-OPCO and will ensure the highest abidance by ADNOC HSE code of practices." "This award, one of the largest in the UAE's offshore industry, reinforces NPCC's leadership in the regional Oil and Gas EPC sector and is further testimony of its strong and lasting partnership with ADMA-OPCO," he added. He congratulated ADMA-OPCO on winning the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) last week, saying "ADMA-OPCO is our strategic partner and we get inspired by them in terms of organisational excellence". The CEO of Technip said his company is attaching paramount importance to the new project, and looking forward to growing vistas of cooperation with ADMA-OPCO. Technip France will be responsible for overall engineering, which will be carried out by their Abu Dhabi office. Technip will share the procurement and commissioning activities with NPCC, who will carry out fabrication of the entire facilities totalling over 66,000 metric tons at their yard in Mussaffah and the offshore installation.
