AirAsia, AirAsia X To Start Operations At Klia2 On Friday

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- AirAsia and AirAsia X flights will be fully operating from the klia2 starting Friday onwards. In the statement Wednesday, AirAsia advised all guests with flights departing from the new airport to arrive three hours prior to departure of their flights and clear all travel formalities as early as possible. "Guests are recommended to perform self check-in which is available via web or mobile, before arriving at the airport. "Self check-in is available between 14 days and up to one hour prior to departure for all AirAsia flights, and up to four hours prior to departure for AirAsia X flights," it added. Baggage drop counters at the klia2 open three hours before scheduled time of departure and close one hour before scheduled time of departure for all international and domestic flights. The airline also enforces the ‘one cabin baggage policy’ to ensure smooth boarding and disembarkation process at the klia2. -- BERNAMA
