Airasia Japan Gets Air Operators Certificate From Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- AirAsia Bhd Friday announced that AirAsia Japan Co Ltd has obtained an air operator's certificate from the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau. In a statement, AirAsia said the certificate will enable the low-cost airline in Japan to operate aircraft in its fleet for commercial flights to international and domestic destinations. AirAsia Japan is a joint venture (JV) between AirAsia and All Nippon Airways Co Ltd. "The company targets this JV to begin operations at the latest August this year but could be earlier subject to aircraft availability," it said. -- BERNAMA
