Anti-Iran Sanctions Will Create Tension In World Energy Markets: Foreign Envoys

Tehran, July 14, IRNA – Italian, Brazilian and Vietnamese ambassadors to Iran said their countries are against sanctions on Iran’s oil, adding the move will create tension in the world energy markets. Alberto Bradanini, Antonio Salgado and Tran Trong Khanh, Italian, Brazilian and Vietnamese Ambassadors to Tehran, respectively, told IRNA that oil sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran will have negative impacts on the economy of the consuming countries. Italy’s Bradanini said the current critical economic situation will be certainly worsened by the bans on Iran’s oil exports. Referring to Italy as the major European importer of Iran’s oil, he reiterated that the sanctions will not affect Tehran, however, it would damage the global oil markets. He expressed hope that the unilateral bans on Iran would be lifted.
