Association Urges Stationery Businessmen To Leverage On Branding Expertise

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysian stationery businessmen must leverage on their rebranding expertise to capture China's brand literacy market, said Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Stationers and Booksellers Association. Its Deputy President, Guan Swee Leong, said there was a growing interest in China in buying foreign brands and quality products. "So I think it's time Malaysians do more on branding and in fact we can sell a lot of products to China. "This is an opportunity. In fact, there are lots of goods which are made in China and sold in China under Malaysian brands," he told reporters after the launching of China Ningbo Stationery and Gifts Export Malaysia Exhibition 2016 here Tuesday. The exhibition is co-organised by Ningbo Municipal Commission of Commerce and The Federation of Stationers and Booksellers Association of Malaysia. The event is expected to feature more than 80 booths from over 50 companies from Ningbo City in China. -- BERNAMA
