'Australia shows keen interest in economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

Baku, October 19, AZERTAC “Australia intends to expand economic cooperation with Azerbaijan,” Rufat Mammadov, President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), has told journalists at the Azerbaijan-Australia Business Forum. "Australian companies show keenness on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of tourism, logistics, transport, oil and gas industry, agriculture, food processing. They are interested in investing in various sectors of the economy and expanding trade in our country," said the AZPROMO President. Emphasizing that the Azerbaijani-Australian business forum of the two countries, Mammadov noted that up to 20 entrepreneurs representing various sectors of Australia attended the event. "The main goal of the forum is to pinpoint specific projects and prospects of trade and investment relations between our countries, as well as to establish business relations between Azerbaijan and Australia," Mammadov added.
