Axiata Unit Completes Incorporation of Axiata Digital Bangladesh

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 (Bernama) -- Axiata Group Bhd's wholly-owned unit, Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd, has completed the incorporation of Axiata Digital Bangladesh (Pte) Ltd (ADB) on Oct 10, 2017. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Wednesday, Axiata said, ADB was a private company limited by shares in Bangladesh under the Companies Act (Bangladesh) 1994. “ADB was incorporated with an authorised share capital of 10 million Bangladeshi Taka divided into 100,000 ordinary shares of 100 Bangladeshi Taka. “The issued and paid-up share capital of ADB is 1.6 million Bangladeshi Taka divided into 16,000 shares of 100 Bangladeshi Taka each with intended principal activity to carry out online ticketing business in Bangladesh,” it said. The incorporation of ADB was not expected to have any material effect on the earnings and net tangible assets of Axiata for financial year ending Dec 31, 2017, it said. -- BERNAMA
