Azerbaijan invested $18.8m in Kyrgyz economy in 2017

Baku, October 17, AZERTAC Azerbaijan invested $18.8 million in the economy of Kyrgyzstan last year, said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov during a meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states. The deputy minister emphasized that Kyrgyzstan invested almost $2 million in Azerbaijan`s economy in 2017. Mammadov hailed development of agricultural cooperation between the two countries. He also noted the necessity of creating a joint venture in order to increase tourism potential of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
