Azerbaijan preparing long-term concept of employment

Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 8 Trend: A concept of employment will be prepared in Azerbaijan within three months, which will cover the years 2016-2025, Azerbaijani Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Salim Muslimov said. He made the remarks Feb. 8 at a workshop on employment policy. “For that, a working group has been established in the ministry, which included representatives of 21 structures, including NGOs and social partners,” he said. Muslimov went on to add that development of macroeconomic policy, entrepreneurship, assessment of the demographic burden on the labor market and employment policy are among the priorities of the concept.
