Azerbaijani energy minister to attend 7th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting

Baku, December 4, AZERTAC Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov will participate in the 7th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting in Vienna, Austria on the invitation of Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo. The meeting will feature discussions on the situation over the global oil market. The participants will review the presentation submitted by OPEC on the basis of the analysis of tendencies in the world economy and oil market development. The Declaration on Cooperation signed on December 7, 2018, on the reduction of oil production for “OPEC plus” by 1.2 million barrels per day was prolonged from July 1 of the current year till the end of the first quarter of 2020.
