Bahrain Airport Services caters to 70,000 visitors at BIAS

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) will provide its catering services at the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS), on November 14-16. BAS Catering Department prepares to provide a three-day buffet at the exhibition tent by providing luxury meals for around 70,000 visitors. "BAS has a large capacity through catering department, especially as the company prepares about 6.5 million meals annually for aircraft using the Bahrain International Airport (BIA), as well as catering for a number of industrial and health facilities In Bahrain, and the total area of catering management is about 11 thousand square meters,” Msallm Al-Nabulsi, Sr. Manager, Catering Services, said. "BAS catering is proud to meet the requirements of ISO 22000, which is an international standard that defines the requirements of the food safety management system and quality assurance. It is also fully compliant with the International Health and Safety Standards (HACCP),” he added. BAS also, provides a range of integrated services for participants including ground handling, equipment, GSE, catering, engineering, cleaning, and operations support.
