Bahrain a major business destination

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): Bahrain’s festival of b2B and B2c expos, Gulf Construction, Gulf Property and Interiors continue to provide the largest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors staged in the Northern Gulf, to promote the Bahrain as business hub. “Amidst the challenging economic climate the marquee exhibition for the Northern Gulf’s booming construction and building sectors remain popular, “ Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), Managing Director Jubran Abdulrahman said. “The overall prospects for Bahrain and the region remain strong with billions of dollars-worth of exciting projects currently ongoing. From civil infrastructure, to the development of new residential, hospitality and commercial districts the signs remain positive," he added. The Kingdom's sector is experiencing positive market indications with the increase of investments in infrastructure, an airport expansion not to mention the increasing number of real estate projects currently under construction. "The patronage of HRH the Prime Minister for the exhibition itself is a motive to the developers, and an encouraging point to all the participants to come out with intelligent innovations. I 'm happy with HRH's great support to the real estate sector in general and Bahraini projects in particular, this gives us a motive for more creativity and preparing the market for more and stronger projects, The Golden Gate project is a unique project in terms of location because its located in Bahrain Bay,it will be the tallest tower in Bahrain. The project is the first Bahraini-Indian partnership, which came as an extension of a commercial partnership between Bahrain and India, which has spread since 5000 years, and what pleased me so far is that 60% of the owners of the project are Bahrainis," VP of Golden Gate Eman Al Mannai, Expert and global real estate trainer, said. The potential positive economic outlook has attracted several international participants. "We are a company owned by King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh. We invest in emerging companies and in strategic projects. Our participation today in this exhibition came to market the lands of KSU and to search for real estate developers that we can share through Build Operate Transfer (BOT). The Gulf Property Show will host international developments in UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Egypt and the United Kingdom. The properties in Spain, and Cyprus carry the added advantage of the possibility of EU residency. The format of the Gulf Construction, Interiors Expos and the Gulf Property Show remains very strong for the 2019 edition. The Seminar and Workshop programme is across the three expos. In the Property Show Bahrain’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority and the Supreme Council of Environment have taken a strong lead. The various topics range from Environmental Impact Assessment Licensing to Owners Association regulation. "The importance of our participation as Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) comes in that we are the concerned party in the real estate, whether Survey & Land Registration Bureau or RERA. The exhibition has it great importance in real estate and it reflects the status of Good property in Bahrain, so we support such exhibitions that contributes to promoting the development of better real estate in Bahrain," Ahmed Saleh, Head of Public Relations and Media in RERA, said. In Interiors the On the Wall 2, Fine Arts Exhibition will see masterclasses and workshops ranging from photography to Calligraphy. As well as leading artists from Bahrain, On the Wall will host international and regional artists from Greece, to Switzerland and Saudi Arabia to Tunisia This year the organisers will continue their innovative approach to Bahrain’s MICE industry. “For the first time in Bahrain we will be live streaming the Expo opening, the workshops and interviews of exhibitors and visitors across our social media platforms” Abdulrahman said.
