Bahrain-Russian trade relations praised

Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs, Nader Khalil Al Moayed, has met the Russian trade delegation visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. The delegation was headed by Vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Dmitriev and in the presence of Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vagif Garaev, and delegation members representing all business sectors in Russia. Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs praised the initiatives and efforts that are undertaken by the Russian-Bahraini Business Council, which significantly contribute to the enhance economic relations between the two countries, and develop joint projects that are in in favor of the peoples of the two countries. He also stressed the importance of meetings and mutual visits between the private sector of both countries to debate and define the areas of cooperation and the possibilities of joint action and projects that could be established in all sectors, especially the small and medium enterprises. In this regard he cited the constant encouragement and support of both leaderships and historical visits made that prompted the joint relations to advanced levels. He also cited the possibilities of cooperation in the commercial and industrial areas and exchange expertise and experience, with a focus on trade exchange in various sectors such as food, aluminum, gas, banking, educational, cultural and others. A visual presentation was presented by the ministry about investment environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the effort of the government of Bahrain to attract and localize capital in light of soft facilities granted to investors from all over the world. Vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation expressed the aspirations of business sector in Russia to hold high-level economic partnerships especially in small and medium enterprises sector.
