BCCI chief meets German ambassador

Manama, (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Samir Abdulla Nass received newly-appointed German Ambassador Kai Thamo Boeckmann and commended steadily-growing economic cooperation in all fields. He reiterated the chamber’s keenness on stepping up positive coordination and constructive joint cooperation to support development and progress and strengthen economic and investment ties with friendly countries. He underlined Bahrain’s keenness on developing relations with Germany and strengthen investment ties, urging representatives of the German trade and industries to visit the Kingdom and explore business opportunities, particularly in the sectors of tourism, technology, renewable energy and education. He highlighted the encouraging incentives provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain to foreign investors to boost trade and investment activities and spur economic growth, in cooperation with the private sector. The two sides reviewed positive ideas and recommendations aimed to promote joint constructive economic cooperation between Bahrain and Germany, streamlined entry visas for Bahrainis and between from the German business expertise.
