BCCI takes part in 44th Executive Leaders’ Committee meeting

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 20 (BNA): The Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Shaker Al Shater, has recently taken part in the 44th meeting of the Executive Leaders’ Committee hosted by the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Chamber. The meeting embraced top executives and directors from GCC chambers and federations of chambers, and endorsed the minutes of the 43rd meeting held on 21st March 2018, reviewed the recommendations of the 50th meeting of the federation’s board, and previewed the scheme of work and the estimated budget of the Secretariat of the Federation for the forthcoming year. It also deliberated about the regulations of the sector committees of the secretariat general of the Federation, the mechanism for holding meetings of the executive leaders’ committee, and other items of the agenda. In this regard, Al Shater stressed the importance of cooperation among member chambers of the Federation of GCC Chambers and other relevant bodies including the Secretariat General of Gulf Cooperation
