BoM holds FX auction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held Tuesday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 12.6 million in a rate between MNT 1984.55-1989.10 and CNY 38.7 million in a rate between MNT 306.70-309.10 from local commercial banks. The BoM sold USD 8.6 million in a closing rate of MNT 1987.00 and CNY 24.2 million in a closing rate of MNT 308.00 respectively. The BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer equivalent to USD 59.1 million and USD Swap agreement selling bid offer equivalent to USD 5.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offers.
