BOM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on December 30, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offer of USD 31.5 million at a closing rate of MNT 1887.00 and CNY 53.0 million at a closing rate of MNT 303.39 from local commercial banks. The BoM did not accept any offer. The BoM received USD SWAP agreement ask offer of USD 5.5 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offer.
