Boost to Bahrain-Russia business ties

Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has hosted in Bait Al Tijjar a large Russian business delegation headed by Vladimir Dmitriev the Vice-Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (RCCI). The event included B2B meetings between the Russian business owners and their local counterparts, a mini exhibition organized by the Russian side, and a press conference which highlighted the results of the visit and the way forward. The event resulted in signing an agreement between both sides of the joint business council titled The Road Map 2017, which outlines the council’s plans for the coming year. The event also resulted in signing another agreement on invigorating cooperation with regard to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The event was attended by Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Russian Joint Business Council, Khalid Al Moayed, the Bahraini Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Al Saati, the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vagif Garaev, alongside other BCCI board members and business owners from the Bahraini and Russian side.
