Bosnia Hopes To Have More Cooperation With With Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina hope to have more bilateral cooperation in various fields with Malaysia including in education, investment and tourism. These were among the matters discussed by Bosnian Civil Affairs Minister Adil Osmanovic and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Dr Mujahid Yusof when the latter made a three-day working visit to Sarajevo. According to a statement issued by the minister’s office, Mujahid began the working visit by making courtesy calls on several of the country’s leaders including the Grand Mufti of Bosnia Sheikh Husein Kavazovic, Sarajevo Lord Mayor Abdulah Skaka and the Chief Executive Officer of Bosna Bank Internationa (BBI) Amer Bukvic. During the working visit, Mujahid also gave a speech at the Sarajevo Halal Fest 2018 and witnessed the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Malaysian and Bosnian companies. In addition, he was also invited to deliver a lecture to students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Sarajevo. -- BERNAMA
