Brands Must Capitalise On Own Entity To Succeed - BrandLaureate
KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 (Bernama) -- A brand must be built and capitalised on to maximise its potential, while its owner needs to take ownership and drive the brand to its full potential, said The BrandLaureate President Dr KK Johan.
He said in today's competitive business landscape, it is important that brands take ownership to determine their success.
"None of us are born successful. Success is a commitment, the more committed we are, the greater the rate of achievement.
"Successful brand leaders are those who have no fear and will go out of their ways with 'out of the box' ideas and eccentricity to build their brands," he said.
Johan said this at The BrandLaureatte Brand Icon Leadership Awards 2016-2017 themed 'Take ownership of your brand for your brand sustainability and continuity', here Wednesday night.
The award ceremony for 13 categories was attended by corporate leaders, brand owners and leading personalities.
Asian Healthcare Group Bhd Founder and Managing Director Chevy Beh won The BrandLaureate SMEs Man of the Year Award, while Mutiara Teknologi (M) Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Puteri Mariana Abd Majid was named The BrandLaureate SMEs Woman of the Year'.
