Buriram Prepped for 2018 Moto GP

BURIRAM, Feb 24 (TNA) -- Minister of Transport Arkhom Termpittayapaisith carried out a field inspection to check on progress being made in preparing transportation networks in Buriram province for the upcoming International Moto GP on October 5 - 7 which Thailand will be hosting for the first time. Mr Akhom said that airline flights, public buses and rail services will be increased to accommodate the more than 200,000 Moto GP fans from all over the world. Mr Akhom revealed that more than 4,000 hotels and resorts in Buriram are already fully booked with pre bookings resulting in demand for lodgings to wash over to other nearby provinces. The minister has ordered all road repairs and refurbishment to be expedited so as to provide the greatest convenience and safety for visitors. (TNA)
