CBQ Raises QR 2 Billion to Boost Capital

Doha, March 07 (QNA) - The Commercial Bank of Qatar has announced raising QR 2 Billion to boost its capital adequacy ratios. Qatar's first private bank raised this amount by issuing Additional Tier 1 Perpetual Capital Notes. CBQ completed the transaction February 28, 2016. The augmented capital will help funding business of CBQ, its subsidiaries and associates. (QNA)
