Changes To Khazanah's Senior Management Team In China, North Asia
KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) – Khazanah Nasional Bhd has announced changes to its senior management team for operations in China and North Asia.
It said the current Executive Director, Investments and Co-Head of Investments (Transactions), Ben Chan will be leaving the company at the end of April 2018.
“Chan, who has been with Khazanah since June 2005, will be joining the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on June 1, 2018 as its Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific.
“Meanwhile, Bryan Lim, Director, Investments, and Head of Khazanah’s regional office in Beijing, will take over Chan’s responsibilities in leading Khazanah’s overall presence in China,” it said in a statement.
Lim will also be responsible for South Korea and Japan, which together with China, constitute Khazanah’s North Asia coverage.
Khazanah Managing Director, Azman Mokhtar said as a key and one of the longest serving members of Khazanah’s senior leadership team, Chan’s track record of service and achievements has been immense.
“We are truly appreciative of his contribution to the institution and the nation in his nearly 13 years with Khazanah. We wish him well in his career with a leading global institutional investor,” he added.
