China and Russia have great prospects for cooperation in agriculture and construction - Russia’s Business Ombudsman Titov

BEIJING, October 22. /TASS/. The most promising areas of economic cooperation between Russia and China are agriculture and construction, Russia’s Business Ombudsman Boris Titov. "Relations between Russia and China are at a very advanced stage of development," he said, speaking at the opening ceremony of the China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR-2015). "The potential of a relationship develops, first of all, in sectors such as agriculture, and now China has become one of the main investors in the region," he said. "Russia has a very large potential for supplying agricultural products to China. Demand for environmentally friendly products is growing in China. We have all the possibilities to produce it in Russia," Titov told journalists later. "We are actively developing retail chains. We have great prospects for cooperation in infrastructure construction. Chinese companies have accumulated a lot of experience in residential construction, and in that area we can establish a very active, quick cooperation," he added.
