Common Ground To Expand To Other Sea Countries
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- Co-working space Common Ground will be expanding to Thailand, Jakarta and Indonesia and aims to reach 35 outlets by 2020 in Southeast Asia (SEA).
Common Ground head of operations Ru Sow said apart from its SEA expansion plans, the company aims to strengthen its footprint in Malaysia.
“We target to reach 25 outlets by end of this year and we currently have 11 outlets.
"We also have two outlets in the Philippines and with the upcoming entry into Bangkok and Jakarta, we look forward to serving four countries in the SEA region,” she told reporters after signing an agreement with real estate agency company IQI Global here Tuesday.
The agreement will see IQI Global promote the co-working space to its clients.
Common Ground will be opening its 12th outlet at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya by the end of this month and it will be pet-friendly.
IQI group chief executive officer Kashif Ansari said the company was branching out into new frontiers and this resulted in the collaboration with Common Ground.
“IQI has thousands of agents involved in the real estate industry. We believe we will be able to better market the co-working spaces to those who require them,” he said.
