DIIZ Industries to Make Inroad Into Asia, Middle East
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 (Bernama) -- DIIZ Industries Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian private company plans to export its organic nanotechnology enhancer for the agriculture and aquaculture industries, Spinox8 to Asian and Middle Eastern countries in the next one or two years.
Managing Director Izham Hakimi Hamdi said the company was in the midst of negotiating and looking for potential joint-venture partners in Indonesia, Jordan, Cambodia, Laos and India for the export of Spinox 8.
"We are expanding in stages. We are also in the process of registering this product in the European Union through our partners there," he told reporters after the signing of distributorship agreements with three Middle Eastern companies here Wednesday.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed.
Izham said the distributorship agreement was valued at US$75.05 million (RM300 million) for five years and the product was expected to make forays into Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia in the next three to six months.
"We have appointed special distributors to market these products in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
"We look forward to SPINOX 8 making inroad into (the Middle East) in a big way, hence, becoming a catalyst for market expansion into the Arabian and African continents," he added.
Izham said SPINOX 8 Organic Nanotech Enhancers was created using organic-based chemicals and processes that increased photosynthesis, as well as promoted and enhanced plants growth.
