Direct Flight From Kuala Lumpur To Tashkent From July

Ravichandran KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Bernama) -- Soon Malaysians can travel to the Central Asian country Uzbekistan more easily following the launching of direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Tashkent from July. On Thursday, the official signing of a charter agreement between Malaysia Airlines and Uzbek tour operator Osmon Aero took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia. Osmon Aero's CEO Anastasiya Arushanova told Bernama that the chartered flight service will start from July 9. "The chartered flights are operated by Osmon Aero," she said after the simple launching ceremony at Uzbekistan's embassy in Malaysia, here, Thursday. She said there will be one flight for every 10 days till October. "Malaysia Airlines will operate the direct flights," said Anastasia. "The launching of this direct flight will play a huge role in the renewing of close relationships between our two countries and people," she further said.
