Economist: Exit From Chapter VII Is A Great Opportunity To Deal With The World Financially And Economically Without Restrictions Or Conditions

Baghdad / NINA / - The economic expert, Saleh Al-Hamashi, confirmed: " the exit from Chapter VII is a great opportunity to deal with the world financially and economically without restrictions or conditions." Al-Hamashi told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): "Iraq's exit from Chapter VII enables it to control its money without restrictions, and to protect Iraqi funds from lawsuits as a result of the damages of the invasion." He added, "The positive side of the decision is the abolition of the reservations that were imposed on Iraq by countries and companies, especially in the technological, scientific and other fields, and the raw materials involved in the war industries and weapons." The economic expert explained: “The benefit of this matter depends on the government’s plan to deal correctly with the money and give Iraq a greater opportunity to deal with the international community financially and economically and to conclude agreements without restrictions and conditions, reduce insurance and control Iraqi goods and money entering and leaving, which allows greater flexibility in the movement of money and goods within country". The UN Security Council had issued its Resolution No. (2621) regarding Iraq's exit from Chapter VII and the closure of the Iraqi Compensation Committee and Fund for Kuwait at the end of this year, after fulfilling all its international obligations. / End
