Eversendai Bags US$431.47 Mln Worth Of Contracts This Year
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Eversendai Corporation Bhd, an integrated structural steel turnkey contractor, has secured US$431.47 million (RM1.8 billion) worth of contracts so far this year.
Executive chairman and group managing director, Tan Sri A K Nathan, said the new projects secured in September included the Sinohydro-Jimah project involving steam turbine and centre control building in Malaysia, New State Courts in Singapore and several other projects in the Middle East.
"Our current orderbook and tendeook now stands at RM2.5 billion and RM20.8 billion respectively," he said in a statement Monday.
In recognising the challenging business environment, he said Eversendai's expertise and extensive experience with an enviable reputation would take the company through the tough time.
"Our strict adherence to safety, quality and timely schedules has greatly contributed to our customers' satisfaction and faith in us," he said.
The company has been continuously renowned for successfully delivering highly complex projects on time with innovative construction technologies and methodologies for steel structures; power, petrochemical and process plants.
He said the company was also known for its participation in the oil and gas and marine engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning projects as well as composite and reinforced concrete structures in Asia and the Middle East.
Going forward, he said the company would continue to secure more new contracts before year-end.
"We will continue to be a key player in our existing markets and we are certain that we will be able to deliver stronger results and growth," he added.
