First European Train To Visit Iran Insured

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA – The first train from Europe which has received permit to enter Iran from the state railways with the coordination of an Iranian travel agency has been insured By Sarmad Insurance Company for its passengers and the third parties. The company has undertaken insurance of the passengers of the tourist train Golden Eagle Danube Express which has introduced Iran as a tourist hub in the world. The train is the first from the European continent and is a member of the luxury trains club. It resembles a five-star hotel which moves on wheels and its passengers will visit attractive places of the world while staying in it until the end of the journey. The luxury train which starts its travel from this October has prepared a travelogue for Iran titled the “Persian Gems” and has added Iran to the list of destinations of the world luxury trains club. Based on a contract signed between Pasargad Travel Agency of Iran and managers of this exclusive European train it is expected that at least 100 tourists will visit Iran this fall. Agreements between this European company with the state railways and tourism deputy office of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization as well as the welcome accorded to the visit by the applicants has resulted in preparation of 10 visits to Iran. The ‘Golden Eagle Danube Express’ belongs to the Hungarian MAV Nosztalgia Kft. The train will stop in each ancient city of Iran in order to enable the tourists to visit the cities of Mashhad, Yazd, Isfahan, Kerman, Persepolis site, Shiraz, Tehran and Zanjan./end
