Home appliance intl. expo opens in Tehran

TEHRAN,Nov.15(MNA) - The 12th international exhibition on home appliance opened at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds on Wednesday, IRNA reported. Some 165 Iranian and foreign companies have taken part in the exhibition, which will run till Saturday. Companies from Turkey, China, Japan, Hong Kong, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates are present in the exhibition. Over $492 million worth of home appliances were imported into Iran during the first half of the current Iranian year, which began on March 20 The figure is related to legally imported goods, including refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, home cinemas, and heaters, according to statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration.
