HRH Premier's directives to support businessmen hailed

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdullah Nass, expressed appreciation of the directives of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, during the weekly Cabinet session, to Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism to coordinate with the BCCI to meet the needs of small businesses and overcome the obstacles they man face. In a press conference, the BCCI Chairman said HRH Premier’s directives reflect his keenness to stimulate the private sector to play its development role in line with the set goals. He highlighted the BCCI readiness to join forces with the Industry Ministry to promote the interests of the Bahraini small and medium enterprises, as they are the locomotive of development. He said the Premier's directives accentuate the government’s determination to provide a suitable atmosphere that ensures the growth and empowerment of the private sector to take part in formulating development plans related to the commercial sector. He reiterated appreciation of HRH the Premier’s resolve to strengthening the national economy, consequently benefiting the interests of Bahrain and citizens. He hailed the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support the private sector and the efforts of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to empower it to contribute to the development process.
