IFN Awards Honour The Best In Islamic Financial Industry

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- The Islamic Finance News (IFN) Awards held here Monday night honoured the best in the Islamic financial industry and for their outstanding achievements in 2015. The awards were awarded by the world's leading Islamic finance news provider, the Islamic Finance News (IFN), which is the flagship publication of financial media company REDmoney Group. "Tonight's ceremony witnessed 32 awards presented from four categories namely the IFN Deals of The Year, IFN Best Banks, IFN Service Providers and IFN Public Investors Award. "Organised by Islamic Finance Events, which is part of the REDMoney Group, it saw 250 world Islamic finance leaders gathered for the event," IFN said in a statement. It said the recipients were selected through a rigorous and robust process, which involved peer nomination, expert independent analysis and industry voting. "Each of the award recipients achieved new milestones despite 2015 being marked by turbulence, volatility and global economic slowdown, which signified the resilience and the constantly evolving nature of the Islamic finance industry," it said. The IFN Polls, established in 2005, has been the industry's leading and most comprehensive annual poll with votes being tallied and the results announced during the first week of every year. --BERNAMA
