IGEM 2016 Expects RM1.5 billion In Business Leads

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- The 7th International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2016, beginning tomorrow (Oct 5) until Saturday, is expected to generate RM1.5 billion in business leads. In a statement today, Malaysia's Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water said more than 30,000 local and international visitors are anticipated at the event, which is to take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre here. Themed 'Green Business for Sustainability', the event has attracted exhibitors from 30 countries to display their innovative green products and services, it said. "IGEM 2016 also serves as a platform to create greater awareness amongst the community on the importance of green technology and adoption of green living practices," said the ministry. IGEM 2016, co-organised by the ministry and the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation, is open to trade visitors on Oct 5-7 and for the public on Oct 8. Admission is free. -- BERNAMA
