Industry Minister meets IMF mission

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, today met the International Monetary Fund (IMF)'s mission to the Kingdom of Bahrain led by Bikas Joshi. Senior officials of the Ministry and Central Bank of Bahrain were present. The Minister welcomed the visit that aims at reviewing Bahrain’s economic development. He said Bahrain's economy is strong enough to keep pace with global crises and challenges, thanks to the government’s sound policy and strategic plans based on diversifying the national economy and attracting international investments.
