Industry Ministry congratulates AmCham Bahrain Chairman on re-election

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Industry Minister, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, has congratulated Qays H. Zu’bi on his re-election as Chairman of the Board of Officers of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham Bahrain) during the elections held on the sidelines of its Annual General Meeting. The minister said that Zu’bi’s re-election confirms the confidence of the board of AmCham Bahrain in his distinguished and ambitious programmes which have contributed to stimulating the Bahrain-US economic relations further. The minister commended the outstanding efforts exerted by AmCham Bahrain in enhancing the Bahrain-US economic partnership in a way that serves the two friendly peoples, affirming the Government of Bahrain’s support for all steps and initiatives aimed at developing bilateral relations and achieving the forecast goals. He added that the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, crowned by the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between them, enjoy the great interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and require more work in order to take optimal advantage of the agreement, and increase the volume of bilateral trade exchange. He underlined the Industry Ministry’s constant keenness to provide all facilities to investors in all economic fields, in line with the directives of the kingdom’s leadership and government in this regard.
