Inspection Authority to cooperate with Transportation Ministry

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Professional Inspection Authority (PIA) has established a memorandum of cooperation for 2014 with the Ministry of Road and Transportation. The memorandum was signed Tuesday by D.Batmonkh, an acting chief of PIA and B.Byambajav, a head of the Audit Department of the Transportation Ministry. Under this cooperation, the sides have planned several joint actions including inspections on transportation, roads, railways and civil aviation, as well as joint measures to progress education and knowledge of staffers and to develop proper legal environment. The two organizations will cooperate in supervision and inspection of imports of used auto parts and motorcycles to reduce traffic accidents in the country.
