'Iran has renewed oil export contracts with China'

TEHRAN, April 28(MNA) - The director of the International Department of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said Iran’s oil export to Chinese refineries have not been reduced in 2012.
“Since the beginning of this year Iran’s oil export to refineries in China has not been reduced at all,” Mohsen Qamsari said in an interview with the Mehr News Agency on Friday.
He said currently China imports an average of 500,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Iran.
When asked some Chinese refineries officially have announced a reduction of oil import from Iran, he just said, “Chinese refineries take some political issues into consideration.”
According to Bloomberg, Iran’s oil shipments to China fell for a fourth month in March to the lowest in 22 months amid delays in signing term supply contracts.
