The Business Standard reported on Thursday that both Iran and India emphasized their strong will to pursue cooperation in Chabahar Port to turn it into a transit hub, especially for the Central Asian region, announcing that the two countries’ representatives will soon meet to survey how to implement the operational phases of the project in that important port.
For India, Chabahar is a very vital project for having access to Afghanistan and the other landlocked countries in Central Asian region, and also a major transit hub in the region, which is very precious.
An economic and sustainable way to ling India to world markets
The agreement to continue cooperation in Chabahar Port was reached during the ongoing visit of Iran Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian of India, which is his first visit to that country since he was appointed in this position.
