Isentia Eyes Double-Digit Growth In Malaysia On New, Improved Solutions

By Nurul Hanis Izmir KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- Isentia, an Australian company providing media monitoring and analysis tools and services, hopes to achieve double-digit growth in Malaysia this year, driven by new and improved clients' experiences. Chief Executive Officer John Croll said since its establishment in 2008 here, the company has continued to receive positive feedback customers, who requested for a broader range of products and services. Isentia's products have culminated in today's cloud-based, software-as-a-service solutions including the Mediaportal platform, along with a number of value-added services namely media influencer databases, social media and content consultancy. "Via these products, Isentia's objective is to discover and share valuable insights that will later be useful for its 5,000 clients in Asia Pacific and 300 in Malaysia," he told Bernama. Croll said the company aimed to strive to keep abreast of the fast-changing and complex media landscape. Isentia tracks and reports on communications campaigns to provide integrated digital and offline media intelligence in Malaysia. "Both online social and editorial media content now have tremendous influence on the purchasing behaviour of Malaysians, who have also enthusiastically embraced online shopping along with the growth especially in the use of mobile phones," he said. This had prompted the company to be mindful of consumer insights and tracking sentiment today, he said. On the Malaysian market, he said the potential was huge as communications and marketing professionals understood the need to listen to consumer chatter as well as offline media news and opinions to help determine their likes, trends and spending habits. Croll also added that one of the company's value-added services is translation services for news articles or reports to local languages -- Malay, Chinese and Tamil. Isentia has been named International Communications Research and Measurement Company of the Year for 2015 and 2016 at the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) Awards in London. --BERNAMA
