Malaysia Airlines Honoured At Brandlaureate Brand Icon Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines has been named as Industry Champion in the aviation category at the BrandLaureate Brand Icon Leadership Awards 2018. The award was presented to the airline's Chief Executive Officer Captain Izham Ismail by BrandLaureate Chairman Rainer Althoff during the gala dinner and awards ceremony Monday. “This is an unexpected win as we did not tender any submission to BrandLaureate for us to even be considered as a winner. I am grateful to them for recognising our efforts in elevating the Malaysia Airlines brand globally,” he said in a statement Tuesday. The BrandLaureate Awards recognise achievement in branding among individuals and companies.
