Malaysia's Serba Dinamik Seeks Collaboration With Industry Players For PeIP
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) -- The Pengerang Eco-Industrial Park (PeIP) project is expected to draw a larger number of interest and participation from contractors, suppliers and the public, especially through the ongoing 4th Malaysia Oil and Gas Services Exhibition and Conference (MOGSEC) 2018, here.
Serba Dinamik Holdings group managing director, Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah, said that the platform is a way for the company to showcase its expertise and introduce PeIP more widely as an important support services provider for the oil and gas industry in Malaysia’s southern state of Johor.
“Although PeIP was launched in April this year, the concepts and models were still not ready at that time. Hence, through MOGSEC 2018, Serba Dinamik wants to promote PeIP and want to inform industry players that we are ready to work together," he told Bernama.
Mohd Abdul Karim also shared the company’s steps to attract foreign and domestic oil and gas industry players, including establishing a joint venture in the area of business location ownership rights.
“Interested parties can also rent through the Long-Term Leasing Agreement,” he said, adding that negotiations are always prioritised in reaching an agreement among the parties involved.
Mohd Abdul Karim also noted that the company's participation in MOGSEC for the first time will highlight the company's expertise in the field of integrated solutions, and will be able to attract potential overseas customers to become strategic trading partners.
“We are also exhibiting some equipment at our booth, such as the High-Speed Balancing Facility and Technical Equipment and Capability, which no one (party) has invested in yet at the moment in the Southeast Asian region,” he said.
MOGSEC 2018 is jointly organised by The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC) and Malaysian Exhibition Services Sdn Bhd (MES), and supported by – among others – the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Shell Malaysia, and Telekom Malaysia.
The three-day conference at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is expected to generate sales of over US$96.64 million (RM400 million).
