Malindo Air Launches Flights To Lahore

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- Malindo Air, which launched its Kuala Lumpur-Lahore services Thursday, has become the only Malaysian-based airline to have direct flight to the capital city of Punjab, Pakistan. In a statement Thursday, Malindo Air said the four-time weekly flights would depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 to Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. "The company also offer introductory fares of as low as US$183 (RM759) for economy class and US$446 (RM1,849) for business class, one-way all inclusive," it said.(US$1=RM4.13) It said bookings could be made online via malindoair.com or mobile.malindoair.com for smartphone devices, or Malindo Air App which available for download on Google Play and App Store. "With the global joint-promotions of Visit Malaysia that we are undertaking with Tourism Malaysia, we believe this new service will boost the business and leisure travellers from Pakistan to Malaysia," Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy. -- BERNAMA
