MCOT, FTI join forces to drive ahead Thai industries

BANGKOK, May 8 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) will join forces to drive forward the country's industrial sector and to provide information on the industrial development to the public. Accompanied by members of the FTI Board, new FTI Chairman Supant Mongkolsuthee visited the MCOT head office in Bangkok on May 7 to meet MCOT President Kematat Paladesh to introduce himself and his team, during which the cooperation was also discussed. The FTI chief acknowledged that MCOT is a large media firm, running journalistic services to serve the public nationwide through its comprehensive channels, namely MCOT HD (30, 14), MCOT Radio Networks and websites steered by Thai News Agency (TNA), while FTI is a large private institution, in which nine active industrial organizations are members with a lot of activities to be disseminated to the public widely. The FTI chief said FTI is, thus, seeking the MCOT cooperation on not only driving the national industrial sector forward, but also publicizing industrial updates to people. (TNA)
