Meat exports to neighboring countries to increase

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Nine Mongolian companies have obtained permissions to export meat. Last year, Mongolia supplied over 2,000 tons of meat and meat products to Russia, and 780 tons—to China. Chairman of the General Agency for Specialized Inspection Sh.Radnaased and the Vice Minister of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China Wu Qinghai signed last month the export inspection and quarantine protocols that allows horse meat product export from Mongolia to China, for example, dumplings and buuz with horse meat, horse-bone flour, also beef, mutton, goat meat with heat procession and others. The companies-exporters gathered this Friday for a meeting.
