Microsoft Malaysia Appoints G-Asiapacific As CSP Direct Partner

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- Microsoft Malaysia has appointed Malaysia's leading and only Cloud technology agnostic provider, G-Asiapacific Sdn Bhd, as a direct Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) in strengthening its position in the cloud computing space. In a statement Tuesday, Microsoft said the partnership is part of the long-term strategy to penetrate further into several key industries in Malaysia, including retail, airlines, construction, media and the oil & gas industry, as well as the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector. General Manager, Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners, Azizah Ali said cloud played an important part of Microsoft’s strategy in today's mobile-first, cloud-first world. "For the last eight years, G-Asiapacific has been delivering consistent and outstanding client experience in Malaysia to ensure successful business transformation using cloud technology. "We are confident of their abilities to deliver Microsoft Cloud solutions to clients," she added. Most recently, Microsoft said G-Asiapacific has been in the final stages of deploying Cloud-based office productivity systems for a major municipal council, and one of the largest hyper-mart chains in Malaysia. It is also looking forward to a successful second year anniversary of its cloud deployment in AirAsia Bhd (Malaysian low-cost airline) and fourth year anniversary of cloud adoption in SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd (Malaysia-based oilfield services company). As a CSP partner, G-Asiapacific can offer the complete client management lifecycle for Microsoft cloud products, including Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, and other Microsoft products bundles.
