Minister Sees Bright Chances To Boost Iran-Pakistan Trade Ties

Islamabad, Feb 7, IRNA -- Pakistani Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh on Monday said that there are bright chances to boost trade ties between Iran and Pakistan. Talking to IRNA, he said that both countries are working hard to promote better trade cooperation. “Well we have a trade relationship which I think is one and a half billion dollars, we think that our relationship is strong and provides a platform to achieve the potential which is much higher than our current trade statistics show,” he noted. “So we are going to work hard with our Iranian colleagues to try and restrict the barriers to trade and trying to promote better trade cooperation,” Abdul Hafeez Sheikh added./end
