Ministry of Commerce, Industry Undersecretary Meets Qatari-Russian Business Council Chairman

Moscow, April 10 (QNA) - HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Sultan bin Rashed Al Khater met on Wednesday with Chairman of the Qatari-Russian business Council Akhmet Palankoev, on the sidelines of 12th session of the Russian-Arab Business Council and the fourth international exhibition Arabia-Expo, under the theme 'Russia-Arab World: Time to Cooperate for our Future' that was held from 8-10 April in Moscow. During the meeting they discussed cooperation aspects between the public and private sectors, especially in trade, investment and industry, as well as ways to develop them. The meeting also highlighted developments in the Qatari economy over the past years, reviewed investment opportunities available in all sectors, the legislations adopted by the State and the initiatives it has launched to support the private sector, which will increase foreign direct investment and attract more Russian companies to the Qatari market.
