Ministry of Economy Recalls 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, CLS

Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles (NBK Auto) official agent of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2014 Mercedes-Benz E- Class and CLS due to the possibility of a relaxation of protective engine fixative edge. The ministry said the recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights. The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects. The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels or through applications of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce on smart phones, which allow consumers to contact directly with the Department of Consumer Protection.
